Using Interventional Pain Medicine to Treat Chronic and Acute Pain
At Premier Vein and Pain Center, we use interventional pain medicine to help our clients manage chronic and acute pain, not narcotics. Our clients are typically suffering from acute or chronic headaches, back pain, neck pain and muscle, joint, or bone pain. Our treatments are designed to treat multiple types of pain at its source. Learn more about the interventional pain medicine treatments we use.
On your initial visit to PVPC, we will perform a thorough evaluation to determine the cause of your pain. We will review your medical records and imaging studies, talk to you about your medical and pain history, perform a physical exam, and then design a treatment plan based on your specific needs.
We use a multidisciplinary, non-surgical approach to manage pain. We typically use conservative therapies first or in conjunction with interventional pain management procedures. Our recommendations for conservative therapy may include:
- Physical Therapy
- Occupational Therapy
- TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation)/ultrasound/hot packs/cold therapy
- Exercise, massage, stretching
- Non-narcotic pain medications that work together, including NSAIDs, muscle relaxants, and nerve pain medications
If we determine that interventional procedures are necessary for best managing your pain, Dr. Quickert may use one or a combination of these, depending on the nature of your pain:
- Sacroiliac joint injections
- Nerve block/neurolysis
- Joint injections
- Trigger point injections
- Epidural steroid injections
- Facet Dysfunction Treatments
- Vertebroplasty / Vertebral augmentation
I had trouble standing for long periods of time. Premier Vein & Pain Center made me feel so comfortable. I got a lot of great information without having to ask. Now I jog and hike and I feel great! I can go hiking for long period of time without that heavy feeling.

I pretty much had constant pain (7-9). Sometimes almost unable to use stairs, unable to kneel or squat. Premier Vein & Pain Center’s customer service was very personal, obviously concerned that I got the correct treatment with as small amount of discomfort as possible. Concern and professionalism were utmost at all times.
The transformation is nothing short of amazing. I now have only very sporadic pain and very light. I can now go up and down stairs easily and pain free!
I would recommend them to anyone.
